Kashmir Solidarity Day observed

Islamabad : Kashmir solidarity day was observed at Islamabad Model College for girls (PG) F-7/4, Islaabad in collaboration with Federal Directorate of Education on Thursday.
The function started with recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat. Principal Sualeha Jabeen Faculty Member and students attended the function. Vice Principal Madam Iffat Khalid offered Special prayer for oppressed Kashmiri people and martyrs and express solidarity and unity with the people in their fight for self-determination and struggle for freedom.
A documentary was presented highlighting ongoing freedom of struggle of Kashmiri‘s and brutalities suffered by them over the years. Students paid homage to Kashmiri martyrs by singing songs. The function concluded with the recitation of national anthem.

Republican Study Committee chairman Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) said Thursday “not a single Democrat would put their name on” a letter to congressional leaders pledging to protect the Hyde Amendment.
Fox & Friends First Thursday the fact that the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan provision attached to spending bills that bars taxpayer funds from being used to pay for abortions, is not supported any longer by Democrats is “an incredible example of how far to the left the Democrat Party has gone.”
Every president since Jimmy Carter has supported the Hyde Amendment which is language included in federal spending bills that prevents pro-life Americans from being forced to pay for abortions.
There is no doubt that we live in extraordinary and unpredictable times. Covid-19 has proven just how quickly life as we know it can change. Few would have predicted our current situation only a short time ago, just as few would have predicted that the issue of Irish Unity would be pushed to the forefront of political debate and become an increasingly likely eventuality in the near future. Unity, once thought of as a remote and distant prospect, is no longer a question of if, but when.

An email laced with exclamation points is never a good sign. At least not if you’re me.
In my world, exclamation points usually follow words such as “idiot!” or “communist!” I take issue with the latter though the former is certainly up for discussion.
Moreover, when the salutation itself is followed by an exclamation point, as it was in a recent email, I know it’s trouble. “Mr. Manieri!”
Inside voice, I’m right here.
This particular writer went on to make several assumptions about my intellect or lack of. He ended with a call to action. “Defend your character!”
PM to visit Kotli on Feb 5 to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Kotli Line of Control on February 5 and will also address a public meeting there to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
This was announced by the Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Prime Minister s House Tuesday. PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Nyazee and former prime minister of Azad Kashmir and President of PTI Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry met the prime minister here, says a statement issued by PTI AJK president office.
